Hair transplantations may still grow hair on any scar. A scar on the scalp can be caused from:
Facial surgery (face lift, coronal lift,brown lift).
Trauma to the scalp.
Any scalp disease (alopecia areata &
lichen plano planaris). The scalp disease must be
inactive at least 1-3 years before hair transplantation
can occur.
