| 1. Can hair be grown? Yes, hair transplantation redistributes strong permanent hair to the bald/receding area. 2. What does the new hair look like? In the early stage, new growing hair will be a little curly and it becomes straight later on. 3. How long will the new hair grow on the scalp? New hair will grow on the client's scalp for their lifetime (some estimate one's hair life to be 120-150 years). 4. How many sessions do I need? It depends on how thick you want the hair to be. If you want hair in the thinning part, 1-2 session(s) should be fine. If you want hair on the bald part, 2-3 sessions are needed to achieve the density you require. 5. Can I have a transplant even if I still wear a wig (hair system)? Yes, if the wig is not attached or glued to the area, then we can perform the surgery. 6. Can I get hair follicles from other people? No, hair follicles from other people come from different genotypes except for identical twins. 7. Are there any substances that can grow hair? No, the only way to grow hair is by hair transplantation. You can grow hair only when you have hair buds or hair roots. Without hair follicles, no substance or chemical can grow hair. There are many claims made by light therapy, laser treatment, electromagnetic treatment, or secret formulas; but, no substance and/or any process except for a natural hair transplantcan produce new hair. |
